May 14/45 [1945] From George Camp, 4 or 5 wolves worked the Whirlpool periodically this winter. In each circuit they came down [underlined] the river as far as Noah or Otter Creeks + crossed from there over the lookout shoulder at Geraldine + to the Athabasca above the falls. Another 5 or 6 came up the Athabasca from Buffalo Prairie, following the route of the highway + up to the falls area Specimens:- This winter Camp shot one wolf a black female. The one Burstrom shot two years ago was a female - White has taken 8 [male symbol]'s + a [female symbol] Wells shot __ __ __ ___ [underlined spaces left blank]
