This morning after a fresh snow
fall of some 6" [inches] 2 cows +
a calf came down to the flat
Late in the afternoon another cow
was seen high up on Mt [mount] Clitheroe
Alec Nelles tells me that on
Aug [August] 20 in Maligne Pass he counted
29 caribou. Of these
5 were ad [adult] [male symbol]'s, 5 or 6 calves. The
remainder yng [young] [male symbol]'s + females of all
ages. One calf was of very
small size.
