Scotch camp. Aug [August] 16/45 [1945]
Found remains of a 12 yr [year] old ram
dead in 1943-44. Horns 38 1/4 x 38 3/4.

Excellent sheep range all the way up
Tyrrel Cr. [çreek]. An extensive area near
the mouth of the creek is first rate
winter range. Over the Pass on the
head of Forbidden Cr. [Creek] some excellent
summer range. Used to be a lot of
rams in the region - present status
unknown
We saw 8 ewes near the mouth of
the Creek and a 3 yr [year] old ram
on the Pass.
Remains of 4 sheep dead several
years lay beside the trail. One a
young ram, one an ad. [adult] ram actions
not known. In no case had the
large bones been crushed.
