Several stayed about the house all winter + were fed with crumbs etc. Nearly every morning they perched up in the plum tree + sang in concert. Mons BC [British Columbia] [underlined] 1927. Very common during early July. Vancouver B.C. [British Columbia] Wintered with us during 1928/29 [1929]. Feby [February] 23/36 [1936] Vancouver B.C. [British Columbia] Snow. Temp. [Temperature] 19 [degrees symbol] F. [Fahrenheit] East wind. Two of these birds in plum tree in yard during early morning Alpha Lake B.C. [British Columbia] Aug. [August] 3. 1937. A [female symbol] taken in dense brush behind the Naismiths house This bird #2314 in heavy moult. Skull granulated. Vancouver B.C. [British Columbia] Feby [February] 10/39 [1939]. Pt. [Point] Gray. Snow on ground + still snowing. Saw a varied Thrush north end of "Rabbit" Road.
