The Peromyscus at the mouth
of Surel Creek Eutsuk lake were not to
be found in the coniferous
woods. All the specimens I
took were in the deciduous
thickets under logs on the
lake shore. Deciduous trees
represented were Cornus stolonifera
Alnus sitchensis + Salix sp. [species]
Tolerably common.
