- Flying Squirrel
Westwick Lake May 12, 1955
Tim [Myres] caught a grey one which
had made a nest in one of
the boxes along the S.W. [southwest] shore
of Westwick.
May 14, 1955
The squirrel had two young
sometime today.
May 25, 1955
The squirrel ate her young sometime
last week. Tim [Myres] got another
[female symbol] and one young from the same
duck box tonight. As the [female symbol] was
badly disturbed, Nancy adopted the
young one.
The young died several days
later. Its stomach was full and
hard, so canned milk probably
contributed to its death.
