Kidluit Bay, Richards Isl. [Island], NWT. [Northwest Territories] July 29/47 [1947]
Ward Stevens took a [female symbol] merganser in
a small steel trap set in a
burrow on the shore of Egg Island.
The burrow was too deep to excavate
but had a hard packed floor with
duck foot prints everywhere + indications
were that it was a nest burrow.
