Watching the young of Penita
closed ventrally - note siphoned tip
pale fulvous, open bored spec [specimen]
siphoned tip red evenly spotted
with white in oblique rows*
Closed one has more slender siphon
in specimen of same size. A very
young taken to be Zirfea [Zirfaea] has
the tip of the siphon pale pinkish
with indistinct dark line in
transverse folds. Siphon of Zirfea [Zirfaea]
much thicker especially at base.
*This confirmed on 12 closed base
