June 12 [1931]. Rain until evening, trap
had taken on Peromyscus + 2 Rats.
A mink had pulled out of one of
the others. Set out a line of mouse traps
June 13 [1931].
Rain all day. Took an old male
weasel in a trap on stamp river
baited with a mouse. 2 peromyscus
in other traps. In afternoon the
weather seemed to clear so
we set out some more
Racoon [Raccoon] traps on the Island
in the Somass River.
June 14 [1931]: Rain in afternoon.
Traps held 2 or 3 peromyscus
and a rat.
June 15 [1931].
Rain off + on. Traps held a
squirrel + a peromyscus. Squirrel [word crossed out]
Obtained a Racoon [Raccoon] skin + skull
from Mr Rand. A small bat flew into the house + was taken.
June 16 [1931]. Rain all day. Traps held
Peromyscus + 3 rats Traps
set out at Sproat lake held
3 peromyscus + 2 juvenile microtus
tetramerus.
June 17 [1931].
Mr [Kenneth] Racey took 10 Vaux swifts [underlined]
out of a large flight that
came over camp in the morning
These swifts were feeding on
green aphids. In the afternoon
