Meas. [Measurements] Examined yearling (20 mos. [months]) pulled down
by dogs on farm. Neck fractured
at axis. Left hind limb had
broken femur, left haunch
consumed.
Measured. 48, 8, 15 1/2, 27.
Parasites etc. [etcetera]
Condition poor, but remarkably
free from parasites.
Mallophaga - mild infest. [infestation]
Lipoptena " "
Cysticercus - 3 "small" spec [specimens] on
omentum.
Whip worm - Trichuris ovis
Found a single individual
in the caecum.
Small roundworm:- Ostertagia
One individual in caecum
Hairworm:- Capillaria
Fairly numerous in small
intestine.
Stomach contents:
25% Cedar
25% Douglas Fir
30% Mushroom (Boletus + a bracket)
20% Flat lichen, Caldonia + Usnea
