Took a large male squirrel 32
No [Number] 173 and a male chipmunk
no. [number] 172. The squirrel was
eating fir cones which he
seemed to prefer to pine
cones. The chipmunk was
in a clump of saskatoon berry.
The squirrel had some 30 odd
ticks in at least 2 stages
At the Indian School pond
I took 3 voles of 2 different
species + 2 shrews, + 1 w.f. [white footed]
mouse. The shrews were S. [Sorex] obscurus
and S. [Sorex] personatus they were
in the microtus runs.
