  • Rock Wren. Salpinctes obsoletus obsoletus. Huntingdon B.C. [British Columbia] Nov. [November] 24. 1934. When seated in the shack about noon heard a strange whistle + on investigating saw a rock wren on the fence east of the house. It flew to a pile of stumps in the middle of the next field where I collected it. It proved to be a female in fine plumage sp. [specimen] # 245.
