In late afternoon hiked over to
Warden Cabin after dissecting the
caribou specimen taken here two
days ago.
Jasper - Banff, Alta. [Alberta] Sept [September] 8/45 [1945].
Heavy snow last night blanketed
the country down to about 6200'.
Packed up + left camp at 4:20 + reached
the car at 8:15. At 8:30 left
for Banff arriving at 2:10 with
a 30 min [minute] stop at Saskatchewan
crossing.
Saw 3 [female symbol] 1 calf caribou
1 [female symbol] moose.
5 [female symbol] elk 2 [male symbol] elk.
3 mule deer.
