Come down from Shalebanks - fine
day, covered 14 miles in 3 1/2 hours.
en route saw Elk 4

Fine day, worked in lab in morning
in afternoon drove down to Talbot Lake
En route saw 2 pr [pairs] Lesser Scaup
that appeared to be planning to nest.
on small marshy lakelets just W [West] of
Talbot Lake. Also found colonies of
rough winged + bank swallows about
1/4 mile apart - photographed them.
Saw a group of 12 geese - not nesting?
