Heard wolves barking at Blue
Cr. [creek] early this morning. Tracks of
3 diff. [different] sizes of wolves on trail
above + below this shelter.
[Warden Bob] Jones saw tracks of 11 wolves
running together. At another
time he followed tracks from
Shale banks to Devona. Also saw
3 at Hoodoo Cr. [creek] + 3 between Willow
Cr. [creek] + Blue Creek.
Droppings:-
2 caribou
1 whistler [hoary marmot]
1 groundsquirrel.

reports a bunch of 7, one of 2 + a single
running this valley for the last 3 years
