H.N. Green in beaver report of
July 15, 1944 he notes sounds of
young heard first on May 7. 3 were
seen in the pond on June 16, 4 on
June 17.
On June 12 3 kits were seen at
a pond near Vermilion Lake.
Saw beavers with kits taking
small leafy aspen branches to their
lodges.
Estimates at least 35 trees from
3-9 in [inches] base diam. [diameter] are needed by
a mated pair + kits.
