- Peromyscus.
July 24, 1936. Ootsa Lake, B.C. [British Columbia]
Took my first Peromyscus
on this lake - a juv. [juvenile] [male symbol]. It
was trapped on an old
pack rat nest. 20 trap
nights in the aspen association
with traps set under logs,
brush pile etc. [etcetera] failed to
produce any of these mice -
nor any other in fact.
Not yet taken around the borders
of the meadows where I am
getting microtus + zapus.
