taken in briar clumps on
sandy area of Indian reserve,
nearest water 100-500 yards.
Took [female symbol] groundhog in tree
up Peterson Cr. [Creek]
Stomach examination
25% Bark + sap - wood of pine
25% Fleshy roots
30% green herbage, mostly bunch grass.
Motion of intestine persisted
for 3 1/2 minutes after apparent
death (eye test), no internal
parasites, even on intestine
