Mt [Mount] Revelstoke, B.C. [British Columbia] July 8/37.
Revisited 2 slides that a week
ago each contained 3 marmots.
There were none present
at this time.
I have on 5 occassions [occasions]
found well grown animals
far from rock slides
+ obviously on the roam.
A [male symbol] taken had the testes
scrotal, but as a very
young animal was shot,
(about 2 to 3 weeks old) it
would appear that the
breeding season is early.
