to #4 for flickers, and Tim [Miles Timothy Myres]
checked Lady Jane.

Weather: morning - fine; afternoon - cloudy
evening: fine
In the AM. Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] wrote up notes,
Nancy [Mahoney] walked around Sorenson, and
I tidied the camp. Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] found his
first Bufflehead nest and in the
afternoon we all went up the
slope and sawed it out and
built steps up the tree to it.
The flicker hole he found contained
six eggs.

Weather: fine all day. There was
a thin film of ice on the water
bucket this morning.
I went into town to buy groceries
The mail from town doesn't come
out till after lunch.
Nancy [Mahoney] and Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] did the swallows,
Nancy [Mahoney] did the laundry and Tim [Miles Timothy Myres]
did photography in the afternoon
Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] saw an Eastern Kingbird
yesterday.
