Dormer Cabin. Aug [August] 11/45 [1945]
On Pass counted 16 rams. These
included 6 rising 3 yrs [years], 2 rising 4 yrs. [years]
3 rising 5 yrs [years], 5 of 7 + 8 yrs. [years] 2 not
determined.
One of the older rams had very
pretty wide spreading horns.
Disease:- One 6 or 7 yr [year] ram had a badly
swollen jaw + a peculiar swelling
at the base of the right horn.
The jaw looked like an advanced
case of actinomycosis
Sulphur Springs. Aug. [August] 12/45 [1945]
At corners found evidence of old + recent
wintering. 6 old ram crania of
unknown age.
Range in excellent condition.
Worked the draws here yes [crossed out] this afternoon
Plenty of winter sign but grass in
excellent condition
Found 2 rams dead in 1943-45
All others appeared to be 1936 except
about 2 1942-43.
