- Synaptomys.
Watchman Lake, Alta. [Alberta] July 28/45. [1945]
Synaptomys fairly common here in wet
ground adjacent to lake, caught in same
sets as Clethrionomys [underlined] + M. longicaudus [underlined] [Microtus longicaudus].
One female contained 4 full term foetuses.
Food here consists largely of Equisetum
?arvense [underlined], + heliotrope at the present while
a captive individual was seen to eat
Carex nigricans [underlined]
When burrowing this individual used
its teeth as much as its front feet.
Head of McConnell Cr. [Creek] Aug [August] 18/45. [1945]
Caught a half grown young one by hand.
