Left Vancouver 9:30 AM + had quick trip
to here. Weather good until noon then
cloudy with light drizzle
Saw 4 mourning doves, 3 at Fryes Corner
+ 1 at Langley.
Between Spences Bridge + Ashcroft saw
several magpies, 2 Lewis woodpeckers,
8 Western kingbirds, 6 chipping sparrows
1 Brewers sparrow, 2 Vesper sparrows,
2 Western wood pewee, 7 sparrowhawks.
1 western tanager, 4 Cassins finch.
Lilacs + Balsamoriza in bloom along
Thompson Valley but North of Cache
Creek everything is very wintery in
appearance. Not even birds on the
aspens

Barrows Goldeneye
2nd lake 4 prs [pairs] lesser scaups
1 pr [pair] Holboell grebes.
3rd lake 1 pr [pair] pintail 4 Barrow
Goldeneye 1 horned grebe.
