Parasites:-
Biting lice: [underlined] 10 taken from
various parts of the body. All
adults. No young or eggs found.
Individuals were taken from
the inguinum, axillae, sides,
back, + back of neck. Very
light infestation, about one per
36 sq in. [square inches]
Sucking lice [underlined]:- This is the
first specimen upon which
I have taken this species. 15
were taken from the back
of the neck. None were to
be found elsewhere on the
body.
Ixodes ricinus [underlined]:- a single
adult in the left axilla.
Oesophagostomum [underlined]:-
Six adults in cecum.
Trichurus [underlined]:-
a single adult in
the lower part of the small
intestine:- about 4 ft [feet] from
the cecum.
