The forests hereabout
are spruce, hemlock (western),
cedar, white pine + a little
Douglas fir, the more
moist places Devils club
is common, green alder
+ willow make up the
bulk of the deciduous
patches together with some
aspen - this becoming
more abundant lower
down.
Along the roadsides 3' different
Vaccinia + a red berried
honeysuckle grow.
Saw 1 Western Tanager
1 Small Flycatcher
20 Pine Siskins
2 Red Eyed Vireo
1 Warbling Vireo
2 Willow Grouse
10 Olive-backed Thrush.
