On Wednesday [struckthrough] Thursday Evening July
F.S. 15 1886 myself, Joe

Property Dennis Hams about the land
on Esquimalt Road. He
offered $1200 for Same or

of an acre
On Friday afternoon July 16
we met Harris again and
agreed to give him the right
of way for $500 on the
condition that the money
was not to be paid into
court. We actually
received no money whatever
but signed an official
guarantee, giving them (the

I might also state that on
this Friday morning we
took Legal advice from
Mr. Theodore Davie in the
matter.
