Weights etc. [etcetera] Went to V.L. Williams farm at
10 P.M. Lights showed about
10 deer in one field, none
of them fawns. Night dark + moonless
Shot an old doe.
Weight 94 lbs [pounds] complete allowing
2 lbs [pounds] for loss of blood.
Measurements 1350, 155, 435,
tarsal gland 90, ear from notch 167.
Fawn. Contained a single [male symbol] fawn
weighing 7 lbs [pounds]. The placenta
consisted of 3 tuberous masses
about the size of a mallards egg.
Length of fawn 580, 72, 215.
Stomach of doe was half full +
weighed 7 1/2 lbs [pounds].
Parasites. 7 Cysticercus tenuicollis,
5 Oesophagostomum venulosum
in caecum.
Pupipera
Other parasites not present.
