Monashee Pass, B.C. [British Columbia] June 25, 1937
Took a young very light
colored animal + an old
darker individual. The
latter ([female symbol]) was with a yearling
young.
When I approached the
young one it gave a grunting
squeal.
Mt. [Mount] Revelstoke B.C. [British Columbia]
An old dark colored individual
was encountered today on the
Eva Lake trail about 2 miles
from the Lookout. It
did not hear me until I
was within 6 ft [feet]. It then
erected its quills + slowly
turned its head toward
me. Whenever I moved it
would lash its tail
