  • Golden Plover Lulu Island B.C. [British Columbia] Jan [January] 4, 1941. Between 3 + 4 pm saw 2 golden plover in field near dyke. - Right side Blundell Rd. [Road] Saw these clearly five times + scanned them with field glasses. Too far off for shot. Seem very wild altho [although] they permitted approach to under 70 yds [yards]
