Ootsa had a talk with
Mr Wm [William] McNeill. He is going
up the Tahtsa to cut out some
log jams + proposes taking
me to the the old emerald
mine + using that as a
base. Wired the museum
for an OK [okay] on the trip.

This morning saw Mt [Mountain] Bluebirds,
a [male symbol] Myrtle [word crossed out] Audubon Warbler, White crowned
and Savannah Sparrows, Cliff,
barn + violet green [words crossed out] Tree Swallows,
black swifts, bald eagle +
rusty? blackbirds.
