- Peromyscus m. [maniculatus] oreas [illegible word crossed out] (Bangs).
Washington White-footed Mouse [all underlined]
Alta Lake B.C. [British Columbia] Aug. [August] 21. 1937. About fourty [forty]
taken since Aug. [August] 5th of these only five are
ad [adult] animals + well coloured, the others were
in all stages of moult from the juv [juvenile] gray
Note that the females are more muddy coloured
than the males + that the juv. [juvenile] females moult
into a brighter pelage than the males
Sept. [September] 13. 1937. These perries [peromyscus] very abundant
this year. During the past five weeks caught
over 60 about camp + of these about
75% were juveniles. During the three
days, Sept. [September] 9th, 10th, + 11th Took 18 Perries [peromyscus]
+ of these about 12 were adults, the
other 6 being well grown juv. [juveniles]
