Weather: rain
Betty [Cox] and I went in to town and
shopped for Tim [Miles Timothy Myres].

Weather: rain showers all day
We caught up on clerical work
indoors. It rained almost
steadily all day. Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] had Betty [Cox] to dinner.
Westwick Lake Wednesday, July 27/55 [1955]
Weather: rain in the morning,
sunny periods in the afternoon.
We really need a fly on
the tent, as our bedding got
soaked last night. We
continued doing clerical work.
Westwick Lake Thursday, July 28
Weather: rain showers all day
More clerical work. Tim [Miles Timothy Myres] came
down with a grocery order in
the evening.
The blackbirds all gone from the
marsh, and the swallows are gone.
They must have gone a while ago,
but we just noticed they
weren't there.
