old female.
Saw a brood of new hatched goldeneye
8 in number also a large adult
Goshawk.
Glen [Smith] + Joyce [Cowan] returned to Cranbrook
to express the beaver. Mr [Jack] McKill +
I went over to the east side of
the valley to investigate reports of a
coyote den on the ranch of Ken
Marples. Lunched with Mr + Mrs [Kenneth]
Marples. She is a friend of the Okalitcha [?]
+ he a former roommate of Harry
Warren at Mackie School.
The 3 young coyotes were at least
a month old + running strongly.
Shot + wounded the adult.
