If not colored use water alone.
Remove superfluous water by pressing
between blotting pads, and then place
the picture face down upon the varnish
pressing it smooth. When the vrnish is
dry, dampen the paper and rub it
off with the finger. Can be used
on glass or metal surfaces. After it
is all dry, put on another coat of
varnish to finish it

To On Tin use potash lye and rub with
Clean a hard substance. On Copper or Brass
Tin use Spirit of Tar
