Rufous Hummingbirds were
quite abundant on all
the lakes + rivers travelled.
Tom McKinley, who traps on
Pondosy Lake says there
is a Wood Duck nesting
on the lake every year.
Last winter he caught
5 Lynx as well as 2 beaver
+ quite a number of marten,
a wolverine + several
weasels. He was once
followed by 9 Black Wolves
on Eutsuk Lake + shot 2
of them.
