Page contains two event programmes and a letter. The first programme is a seating plan for a banquet held in honour of the German Ambassador, Prince Lichnowsky, on June 3, 1914. The cover text is as follows: "Tischplan für das Festessen zu Ehren Deutschen Botschafters Sr. Durchlaucht des Fürsten Lichnowsky D.C.L. Mittwoch, Den 3. Juni, 1914." The second is an invitation to the laying of a foundation stone for the Presbyterian church at Oxford, June 6, 1914. The letter, dated September 1, [1914], was sent to Joseph B. Clearihue by Kate Bisset while they were in France at the beginning of World War I.
- [Transcript of letter, start page] 104 Rue Lauriston Mardi, 1 Septembre Once more I have returned to Paris having gone through rather an exciting time. I [intend] trying to get home now if possible at all. I have been wondering if you are still in Paris or have left for Switzerland. I should like you to come here tomorrow forenoon so that I may talk things over with you and perhaps get some advice from you. K. Bisset [end page]
