June 25th 1924. Several flocks seen
above camp on Mt. Whistler, easterly
Spurs alt. [altitude] 6200 ft [feet]. 19 of these birds
counted in one flock. Two collected
both proved to be males, the last was
feeding on insects on snow.

Seven of these birds seen on the topmost
rocky peaks at an altitude of about
7000 ft. [feet] Three specimens were secured,
