E [east] of Bridge Lake
Westwick Lake. May 19, 1954.
Left Lone Butte this morning + came out
to the highway at mile 83 + drove here with
stops at 103, Watson Lake, 149 + Cummings Lakes.
Did not count the waterfowl on them because
the wildlife service is doing that. At
Watson Lake found several potential nest
sites for buffleheads, mostly along the west
side of the lake.

On east side shot at an Upland plover [Upland sandpiper]
but missed it.
3 prs [pairs] of sapsuckers along lake edge.
Many Audubon + Myrtle warblers moving.
At Cummings Lake found one
occupied Goldeneye nest in stump standing
in the water at S W [southwest] end.
Visited [Leo] Jobin + found him packed up
ready to leave for a trip along the [illegible word]
