tailed ptarmigan flushed +
was collected.
Two pack rats + a porcupine
were taken at the shack
during the night.
Heard a Clarkes Crow in
the evening. Saw tracks
of 2 Mt. [Mountain] Goat.
July 13, 1937. Eva Lake B.C. [British Columbia]
Started raining before
daylight + continued intermittently
all day. We packed out to
Balsam Lake, starting after
lunch + arriving at camp
about 3:30. On the way
we collected a number of
plants + I shot two
whistlers. Took a [female symbol] Neotoma
in the traps this morning
+ saw a [female symbol] weasel (cicognani)[Mustela erminea]
hunting a rock slide.
July 14 1937. Revelstoke, B.C. [British Columbia]
Today packed + shipped all our
dry specimens, packed up all our
baggage + spent the night in
Revelstoke planning our next
move.
