Oyster River.
May 23/52 [1952] Re [Regarding] hunting season. It seems to
me that the Sayward could be
opened from Oct. [October] 15 - Nov. [November] 15 or
nearest suitable dates. I would
like a complete roadcheck of
deer taken on the area.
This can be obtained by
manning the camp 5 gate + the
Salmon R. [River] Gate. Contact Peter
Harmbourne, Supt. [Superintendant] Elk. R. [River] Timber co. [Company]
to keep his Quinsam gate closed.
Each station should be provided
with a checking station for
measurement of all animals, also with
beam scale for weighing.
Cougar hunter operation on
this area required.
