  • Journal. or totally unsuccessful with these Indians because they have to travel so widely in search of meat + are unaccustomed to staying in one place + bringing meat for long distances into it. The Indians are in very poor humor over the restrictions on moose, beaver + marten. Certainly there has been no check on beaver + marten to see whether they could be opened generally or in certain areas. The Indians maintain that they could.
