Food. Acer macrophyllum. [underlined] In one
instance the terminal leaves
of a sprouting maple were
plucked + eaten. Others had
not been touched.
Rosa nutkana [underlined]:- slight utilization
of the leaves.
Small Carex moderate
utilization.
Large Carex sitchensis very slight browsing
Glyceria borealis [underlined] heavily browsed.
Athyrium filix- femina [underlined] eaten moderately
but not the maidenhair or sword fern.
In addition I noticed one manzanita
bush that had been heavily
browsed + 2 small white
pines that had been moderately
utilized.
