on one of the carcasses on Henry
House Flats.

Tracks of a large [male symbol]?) and [female symbol] + cub
along trail today. Saw one pine tree
the bears had been using as a rubbing
post.
Food:- One scat contained deer hair

the divide onto the head of Restless

Rocky Forks - July 19/44. [1944]
Fresh tracks of one solitary
animal + one with a cub between
Southesk Pass + here.
Food [underlined] 1 scat - deer foot.

Along Sherbrooke Creek trail saw one
lot of tracks, 3 to 4 weeks old, of a small bear
+ saw one fecal pile of grass.
