Waterton Lakes, Alta [Alberta] July 22/45 [1945]
Here we have found pikas scarce
heard or saw them on the slide behind
the supt's [superintendent's] house, on the big slide
just S [south] of town across the lake, on the
slide just S [south] of Bertha Bay on Waterton L. [lake]
+ high up at the head of Crooked Creek.
Sulphur Spring Aug. [August] 13/45. [1945]
Pikas were found in the first draw
+ 3rd draw here - I cannot imagine
how they got here - a long hike from
other suitable slides.
