Great numbers of robin coming in fr [from]
the south March 12, 13 + 14 They came
through by hundreds. Ed Lidlew says
that they were much more numerous
a week ago. Several thousand went
through during the three days I had them
under observation.
Alta Lake B.C. [British Columbia], Aug. [August] 23/37 [1937]. A flock of 5 passed
through camp 7 a.m. On opposite shore in alders a pair
are still feeding almost three quarter grown young.

About fifteen robins seen this am [morning]
about our house + back of Archibalds.
They seem to be feeding on the red osier
berries + one, a [male symbol], # collected later near
our well was stuffing itself with these
berries.
Vancouver B.C. [British Columbia] Oct [October] 12. 1937.
Very heavy migration of robin during
past two weeks + many stopped here to
feed on rowan berries. Many thousands
must have gone through. Today there
are practically none of these birds
to be seen.
Oct [October] 15. 1937 Huntingdon B.C. [British Columbia] Great numbers of
robins arrived in garden during middle of yesterday
afternoon + immediately set on the grapes. Kept
driving them away but they would fly from one side
of the garden to the other end. Today they are
again destroying the grapes + altho [although] I have
shot several they do not leave.
