To remove foul air from a well,
lower an open Umbrella by the handle
with a string till near the bottom.
Pull it up and Empty out the carbonic
acid gas, which is heavier than air,
and Keep on lowering and raisting until
a lighted candle will burn when lowered.

Cure for Diptheria
Use "Benzoate of Sodium" Every hour
the patient takes a tablespoonful of the
solution, 15 grains to the ounce, and at the
same time 1/6 grain "Sulphide of Calcium"
in Syrup. In addition the throat is
sprayed Every half hour with a 50 per cent
Solution of Benzoate of Sodium. Eat
Beef Juice, tender Raw Meat Milk Etc. but use

Sprinkle Emery powder between them and
then wet it with water. Rub one against

The Oil made from the heads and jaws
of the Black fish are the best for Watches
Cut out the piece shaped like a melon
on Each side of the head, but be careful
