taken them under roots of
standing trees, on rock ledges
under logs, in clumps of bushes
+ in among patches of Equisitum [horsetail].
I also took 3 in the microtus
runs through the bunch
grass.
microtus [underlined] A small colony of about 8-10
individuals in an area of
about 100 sq. [square] ft. [feet] of bunch
grass on a very steep slope
about 10 vertical feet above
the river.
