[juveniles] Diseases [underlined]:- Shot a lame buck with one eye injured (left). This animal was in terrible shape. The axillary lymph glands + the kidneys were great sacs of pus - lymphadenitis [underlined], V Mallophaga [underlined] - about 25 per sq. [square] in. [inch] [illegible words written above sentence] Ticks [underlined]:- numerous recent scars, a few still attached Dictyocaulus [underlined]:- moderate infestation, many old scars on lungs. Cysticercus tenuicollis [underlined] about 27 large cysts on liver, heart, + digestive tract. A fractured rib healed but with extensive adhesions to right lung. Healed scar on left hind leg adhered to underlying periosteum. Measurements:- 1830, 180, 570, 220. Births Triplets June 9, 1941, June 8, 1942 to doe in town. April 29/43 [1943] Census:- Saw deer as fas west as Castle Mt. [mountain] in all 12 seen in areas where none had been seen before. 5 were feeding right alongside elk Mule deer in Kootenai Park winter along west boundary.
