Food:- Food taken to the den is
almost exclusively Equisetum [underlined] +
large amounts of it are packed
into all the runways in a
nursery den.
Injuries [underlined]:- One ad [adult] [male symbol] had the
terminal third of its tail missing.
Another had a segment out of
the lower lip. A third, the [male symbol] of
den (e) tore out one of its upper
incisors on the wire of the trap.
It escaped from me because
my gloves were slippery with
mud.
Measurements of young. Aug [August] 11

Accidents:- One juvenile in a trap got
itself so soiled with mud that
it died of exposure. This is the second
time we have had this happen + a third
animal was very weak from the same cause
