The usual round of trips in the morning
took a [male symbol] weasel and a porcupine as well as
3 red-backed mice. As the porcupine was a
young animal I let it go.
In the afternoon went north and east
around Mt. [Mount] Revelstoke. Took a cony on slide
and heard one other but as the sum [sun] was full on
the slide most of the animals were under cover.

2 Pipit.

2 Chipping sparrow.
5 Fox sparrow.
